Co-Founder
After personal experience with drop foot, Lennart founded Rezolve Medical with a vision to create better orthotic solutions.
Co-Founder
Joris joined as a full-time co-founder in March 2025 and is responsible for general operations, compliance, finance and legal.
Thesis Intern
Currently completing his biomedical engineering degree at TU Delft, Pim is contributing to research and development.
Our Story
Rezolve Medical was founded in 2023 by Lennart Zielstra. After rehabilitating from an accident in the Austrian Alps in 2014, he was left with a drop foot and experienced first-hand the limitations of current ankle-foot orthoses on the market.
After graduating from Delft University of Technology with a bachelor's degree in applied physics and a master's degree in biomedical engineering, he set out on a mission to improve the quality of life for movement disorder patients like himself and founded Rezolve Medical.
In March 2025, Joris Zielstra joined the company as a full-time co-founder, after previously serving as a part-time advisor. Joris has 4+ years of experience working as a lawyer at a Big Four firm. He has also set up multiple businesses. His experience with regulations and compliance combined with his entrepreneurial spirit are a valuable asset for Rezolve. Together, they're working to revolutionize the AFO market with innovative solutions.
