Our story.
Rezolve Medical was founded in 2023 by Lennart Zielstra. After an accident in the Austrian Alps in 2014, Lennart was left with foot drop and experienced firsthand the limitations of existing ankle-foot orthoses on the market — bulky, generic, and poorly fitted devices that did little to restore natural movement.
After graduating from TU Delft with a bachelor’s in applied physics and a master’s in biomedical technology, he set out on a mission to improve the quality of life for patients with movement disorders like himself. Rezolve Medical was born from that experience — a company that puts patients first, by design.
In March 2025, Joris Zielstra became a full-time co-founder. Joris brings more than four years of experience as a legal consultant and lawyer at a Big Four firm and has set up several companies. His expertise in regulation and compliance, combined with his entrepreneurial spirit, is a strong foundation for Rezolve’s next phase of growth.
